Role-Playing Sivoa
Otnas Ognim Ultimate Fighting Tournaments:
Though the natives for the most part are peaceful, they do have a mean streak. Though there were few wars documented in Sivoa’s history fighting has always been a part of their culture (Put it this way… THEY’RE CATS! Cat’s fight a lot and then they come home and be all sweet and stuff =Oo=).
There is only one major tournament, which takes place in Otnas Ognim's palace courtyard each year. Fighters from all over the galaxy come to participate in this event in hopes of winning the glory of being the galaxies best public fighter. The prize at the end is an added bonus.
Rules For Fighting
- No magic allowed, save for these types of spells:
- Teleportation
- If you feel that a blow about to be delt to you is fatal, you are allowed to teleport out of the way of it. However, you must reappear at 10 ft or more away from your opponant to allow them time to find your new location. Teleportation out of the arena is considered forfeit and your opponent wins.
- Melee weapons only
- Projectile weapons are unfair.
- No Killing
- Deaths on the ring can be viewed as murders. As a fighter you are responsible for stopping your actions once you see that you’ve won/lost.
- (Place honor system here. If characters die I don’t want to hear about it in the ring, unless of course it is planned by both Muns for story development reasons and submitted to me before hand.)(Don’t do this to often.)
- Registration.
If you plan on making a tourney fighter character you must register it. Just like you have to in real life. This is so we can keep tabs on them ;p
The way these are handled is pretty much based off of descriptions alone. Not the length of them, but the way that people play off of what the other people do. You can visualize openings in tactics and take advantage of them in your own post, and honestly it’s more fun that way. If there is a need though you can use the dice roller.
*Note: I'm tired of running these, so if anyone else is up for it, you have my full permission to do so.
