Role-Playing Sivoa
Living Planets In The Sivoan Empire
A trinary star system that serves as the home of the Sivoan Empire.
Sivoa
Capital Planet of the Sivoan Empire. Made so beacuse it's the central-most point in the known galaxy... thus a shorter trip than would be anywhere else.
Cytan
This planet is for the most part one giant computer, as well as a giant mystery. No one really knows about its origins, and in the course of time all records have been lost. After a while though, the computer was able to develop a most superior AI system and created entire races of robots to perform unique tasks. In times even these robots were able to develop personalities of their own and have proven to be a wonderful contribution to the Sivoan Empire.
Many have been brought to here for medical treatment, since Cytan has the best facilities and artificial replacements of any of the planets enlisted in the Sivoan Empire. The great big disadvantage of this though, is that a record number of individuals in serious condition brought here, wind up suffering amnesia. Because of this there is a good deal of controversy of weather or not the hospitals here should treat near-death patients.
Addisia
"Being here is like living a dream."
~ Kit Tigera, explorer/ archeologist
Addisia, according to philosophers, is a relatively new planet in its creation. The inhabitants here very closely resemble creatures in earth mythology (a connection that makes a few suspicious of the unknown talents of humans). To the magic, adept this place is like a high that nothing else can compare to, as Addisia's surface is flowing with the planets life energies.
There is only one spaceport located here, as the planets inhabitants detest the cold mechanical feel of the technology the outsiders brought in. It was allowed to be built almost solely on the request of the Orianna at the time. It was because of her magical ties that the Faye finally agreed outsiders were allowed in.
Since then it has been a little easier for visitors to visit and mingle, but they are almost only restricted to living in one of the few outside settlements which dot the continent that the spaceport is located on.
Raliee
Swampy very. Raliee is a planet mostly comprised of water. But it does have a few spots where solid ground can be found. The reptilian inhabitants of this planet mostly live underwater cities that provides a tough, yet livable breathing environment to visitors from other planets. The spaceport here is unique in the fact that it is stationed off of the planet. From there visitors have to ride specialized shuttles that travel back and forth between the station and the underwater cities.
Imanok
Hidden from both view and scans by an advanced shielding matrix, this dark world is the home world of the Nightwalkers, the criminal organization that works in the shadows of the empire. Rogues, pirates, mercenaries, even some traders and cargo transporters have some ties to the Nightwalkers.
*Note: This is THE mafia homeplanet. It does not appear on any maps and authorities pretty much have no idea where it is. There's some speculation, but nothing definitive (most people think it's in the Vendekar System)
A lone planet system that marks the northern boundary of the empire, serving as a weigh station between Earth and the rest of the empire.
Vendekar
A planet consisting of ten major continents, Vendekar is pretty much void of life, except for the native creatures and a military base on the largest of the continents, which is run by a skeleton crew.
A large planetary system that marks the western boundary of the empire.
Savara
The only habitable planet in the system, Savara is almost completely water. A planet wide ocean, with thousand of island spires doting the vast blue waters, the largest of which hold small towns and villages, where airships are a major mode of transportation. The native race of Savara is an aquatic race with lean, slender forms, having small fins extending from their ankles, wrists, and a fish like tail from both the posterior and back of the head. Few have hair and their bodies resemble wetsuits resulting in few clothes, decreasing water resistance.
A nebula created from the gasses of a supernova, this intergalactic cloud of dust serves as the weigh station between one end of the empire and the other, which lies beyond what the humans call 'the rim of known space'. Travel to the outer empire must be done through the nebula with a guide from the lone planet hidden within, as there are three black holes within the nebula tightly packed close enough together to be hazardous to unguided travel. That's not counting the numerous subspacial and hyperspacial anomalies.
Remyth
A world formed from the gasses of a dead sun, Remyth is a world with no star of its own, but has a distinct rotation and sessions of day and night, partly thanks to nano technology and an ancient relic that revolves around the planet as a artificial satellite. A world rich in tourism and trade, Remyth hosts a guild house where anything can be learned. From the arts, to sciences, to sorcery, to even military training at the Sivoan Military Academy.Remyth not only has no sun, it also has no atmosphere. The nebula, however, serves as its atmosphere and is breathable by most races, even humans.
A binary star system that marks a boundary of the empire and is situated beyond the rim of known space.
Turan
One of two planets in a double world orbit; when both planets revolve around a center point, which revolves around the system's star, Turan is a world of trade and technology. Hosting one of the military's largest shipyards, the natives are a fusion of biologic life forms and technology, though this is not always evident. Some appearing as living machines, others look like your typical alien. Turan is one of the leading builders in biomechanical starships, specializing in Super, Nova, and Galaxy class ships.
Azakar
The second planet of the double world orbit; Azakar hosts few settlements, as it is barely habitable. This world is really nothing more than a ship graveyard. All kinds of ships, destroyed in wars or falling apart of old age, are brought here to be laid to rest. Scavengers, mostly scientists that work with metals and bio-metals, and engineers, come to this treasure trove for parts to use in experiments or building new ships.
Anlisha
This world hosts the largest shipyard in the empire and produces the Star class starships, used as flagships for the fleets. "Scar's Gem" is the largest Star class flagship in the entire empire.
*Note: This planet is not habitable on the surface, but the surface is dotted with domed colonies that connect to each other through vast reinforced tubes.
Makiya
Makiya is reputed to be the true source of the empire's wealth and products, as it is the only source of raw materials that are exported to various planets to be used in shipbuilding, and goods manufacturing.
*Note: This planet is not habitable either, but it's mined... A LOT
A double world system, with two other uninhabitable planets, out in past the rim near Turanli.
Chaos
One of two planets in a double world system, Chaos is like its name suggests. Chaos reigns over much of the red, volcanically active planet, however there is some order among the natives, which are rather demonic in appearance. There is a clear hierarchy on the main continent, with a High Lord at the top, who rules over all. Movement up through this chain is by way of force, or cunning. Either trick or kill the next person in line to elevate you position. Only the strongest hold the position of High Lord, and since the start of Chaos's history, only one person has held that title to this day.
Order
The second of the double world, Order is for the most part, a mirror reflection of its sister planet. A fertile world of vast plains and hills, the natives here are angelic in appearance and have a council system, consisting of three members and a league of voices. Three persons chosen by the people, from the three main continents serve as the great council, while one representative from each of the smaller continents serve as the voices of those from the rest of the world, so that all are heard from and power is dived equally. Among this high order, is also some chaos. Even with a council like this, there is bound to be debates and plots.
Planets Just barely within the realm of the Sivoan Empire
Earth
In this setting Earth if far more advanced from what we see it as now, but it doesn't look that way on the surface. Despite be significantly involved with the development of the Sivoan system and thus being involved in much trade with the other planets, the majority of Earth took a step back and remained loyal to it's traditions and art.
There have been some additions, such as the addition of the United Planets building located in Australia. This strange building is made up of various metals imported from all of the registered planets and serves as Earth's headquarters for political dealings within the Sivoan system.
